In my excitement, I failed to notice that the camera doesn’t come with a memory card, and of course doesn’t use the same kind as my old one. Which means I have to wait for Brian to come home before I can get one. Technically I can take pictures, but obviously they’re not getting save or anything. But that’s okay, because it means i’m actually reading the instruction manual. I have the attention span of a gnat, so I read a few pages and then get distracted by something shiny. But by the time Brian comes home I should have gotten through most of the important stuff. Right now i’m frustrated because there doesn’t seem to be a way to turn the flash off unless I flip it back down everytime I take a picture. Annoying.
I need to clean off my desk too, it’s a mountain of papers and books and bottle caps.
P.S. Gozer stole my thunder by puking three times after the camera came. Jerk.
