» I am so sick of baking. Don’t Eat Off The Sidewalk!

I am so sick of baking.

And I am so sick of eating baked things. I barely want to eat, period. My ideal meal right now would be a bag of baby spinach and a gallon of water. I think I am going to have to put the baking aside for a bit and focus on some beans and grains and veggies before I develop a fear of white flour. It doesn’t help that I tried my third varation of a banana bread involving chocolate and peanut butter and i’m still not happy. Balls. I did make a yummy peanut butter glaze/icing that I think is a keeper, but now I don’t know what to put it on.

I was checking out my link referrals, and someone is linking to me as a Jewish vegan blog. I don’t know why anyone would think I was Jewish, but…Mazel Tov! If I were religious, I would be Jewish. Because Yiddish is awesome and so are Matzoh Balls and Latkes. Mmm, Latkes. Bryanna Clark Grogan has a really good latke recipe, I recommend the zucchini variation, it makes them a tad healthier and no one will ever know. Brian still doesn’t know. And to prove that he never reads my website i’m going to brazenly admit that I slipped him zucchini. In your face!

(It’s really not a big deal, Brian will sometimes eat zucchini.)

(Watch him actually read this. Jerk.)

  • feel free to put your PB icing/glaze all over me. oh yeah.

  • That sounds so wrong…and yet, so right.

I have no witty remark here except to say I’m sure you’d find it just as funny if I were to make something “vegan” and slipped some egg into it.

Your PB icing/glaze will be a hit at our imaginary bakery in Austin.

  • Getting sneaking with the zucchini nice.
As for the PB glaze, I’d say it would go well with just about anything. In fact I’m thinking you should just make some and ship it my way.
