» Backdating. Don’t Eat Off The Sidewalk!

Backdating.

I’m putting up my missing MoFo entries, backdated.  I’ll put up todays (technically, yesterday) tomorrow, when i’m conscious.

Oh, and there is a MAJOR omission in the veg stew and dumplings recipe.  Please write in:

2 1/2 c vegetable broth
1 c water

About 90 copies went out before someone pointed this out to me.  I printed out the correction on little stickers for the rest of the copies that I still have.  Speaking of which, copies are going out slowly but steadily!  Now that orders have slowed to a trickle I should be able to catch up in the next few days.  I already know that I have to go back to Kinkos, meaning I blew through 200 copies in two weeks.

Also, i’m now very excited about Thanksgiving this year.  Since we had our big family thing before Brian left, this year it’s just going to be me, my in-laws, and Brian’s grandparents.  So I called up my mother-in-law and asked her that if instead of having the same ol’ same ol’, if I could make a semi-fancy dinner for us.  And she said yes.  Which means no turkey!  And I get to be creative!  And try out stuff that i’ve wanted to make forever.  Like the Raspberry Blackout Cake from Vegan With A Vengeance.  I spent the evening pour over cookbooks and trying to decide what to make.

(Pssst, if you’re my friend and your names begin with A, you can come over for dessert!)

Oh crap – you didn’t mean me.
That’s okay, TN is a little far to travel for blackout cake when I’ve got VwaV too.

Yay! She means me! Actually, If brians mom doesn’t want us all descending on her house, we can have a thanksgiving desert party here….

Dude, my spell check wants to turn brians name into brains!

Hey Amanda, your not the only girl with an A name! I will be in town and am ready to eat all of your food, Katie. Marcia called my work today and asked me if I was coming to dinner, and mentioned you were making something “fancy”….
