Sometimes people die and it’s lame.

Lux Interior died.

I was really surprised by this since The Cramps have been making music pretty much non-stop for the last thirty-something years.  That fucker was 60 and still going out on stage in leather pants and eyeliner, and amazingly, didn’t look like a total tool in doing so.

If there’s a rock n’ roll heaven, John Denver better hide because Lux is about to come in and bust all of your shit up.

This is the first Cramps song I ever heard, on the soundtrack for a movie called ‘Whatever’, it was one of those things where I immediately picked up the case to find out who the fuck did this awesome song:

i hadn’t heard this till i read it here awhile ago…i then had to break the news to my husband who took it pretty hard. lux was one of the few who kept it going so late in life without discrediting himself or seeming the fool.
