I did greatly enjoy your post below about food porn vs. food scat. Ha! I try to take very good pictures with my Canon PowerShot A530, and try not to post the sucky ones. (Or keep taking pictures until I feel I have a good one!)
I have yet to try the macro function — good tip!
One other tip I have to add is to set your camera to its highest resolution, if it’s not already — that way, you have more zooming-in capabilities without going all pixelated.
